Gratuitous Pop Culture Reference #Some

As suggested by RSJS during the collection of moments in between movie viewing and large pies that we half-heartedly refer to as "real life" -- pick the Gratuitous Pop Culture Reference that most appeals to you:

'Fuck you, Skywalker!'

'Fuck you, Ash!'

'Fuck you, Thing!'

And that's the end of that.

Gratutitous Pop Culture Reference, I Guess

'YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTHS!' bellowed Uncle. Fortunately, they were talking about Shaft, so he could dig it.

I should point out that Uncle is not actually a floating torso -- that bit of the picture was cut out to make room for the original text. On the other hand, I didn't actually pay much attention to the original text -- it could have been about a sword-wielding floating torso for all I know.

A Slayer's Work is Never Done

Bertie would come to regret his choice of moustache style after a chance encounter with Buffy the Brazilian Hitler Clone Slayer. 'Look Willow -- another one! Good thing I brought Mr. Clubby!'

I'm pretty sure that's two Gratuitous Pop Culture References in one there. Monkey Fluids: value for money. If you were actually paying money to read this, that is.

Gratuitous Pop Culture Reference #D

Alzheimers eventually took its toll on Indy. 'But if that's my whip in the basket, then what... Aw, shitcakes.'

I did have another caption for this one, but I figured I better get in with the Indy reference before everyone else does.

Reader Mail #1

Back when I started, I recall threatening to use reader-submitted captions that took my liking. Lest it be said that I don't make good on my threats, I present this offering submitted by one Stefan Jones back in April:

“Luka? She lives on the second floor.”

At the time I was leery of gratuitous pop culture references, wondering what it said about my levels of creativity. Since I'm right now generating material from someone else's caption adorning someone else's illustration, fuck it.
